My Counselling Approaches
I provide counselling services using a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
These therapy approaches are evidence-based (i.e., proven by research) and effective. Along with these proven counselling strategies and interventions, I place enormous importance on the relationships that I build with clients. Through these relationships, I provide a caring, strength-focused environment that creates a sense of safety and trust for clients. I consider it a privilege when clients invite me to accompany them on their own personal journeys of healing and growth.
